Room 3 went on an overnight camp to the Broken Hills Hills camp ground, what a blast we had. It was a very busy time. In preparation for camp we studied native trees, as well as learning how to erect tents, and build bivouacs (thanks to Glenn who showed us).
The camp was about getting to know our environment, team work, cooperation and experiencing a overnight camping situation. The children were amazing and put effort into enerything they did with no moans or groans.
The camp was a great success, thanks to all the parents who helped; David, Ren, Andy, Pete, Dean, Linda, Megan, Leigh, Gillian, Alison, Atawhai, Nykesha and Brenda. Also thanks to the generiosty of Leigh and James Rolton who donated buns and a collection of other baked delights.
We made a photostory of our camp,
Thank you Ana Tangira for the great narration of our story.
